This role is a senior marketing position responsible for driving engagement, retention, and growth through email and omni-channel campaigns. You will lead a small team of developers, managing the execution, optimization, and automation of marketing programs while ensuring quality and consistency. The position combines hands-on campaign development with team leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. You will leverage coding expertise, marketing automation, and data insights to build innovative campaigns that enhance customer experience and drive measurable business outcomes. The role also includes ownership of automation calendars, platform governance, and team development. This is an opportunity to shape marketing programs in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Accountabilities

    • Oversee day-to-day production and optimization of email and omni-channel campaigns, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
    • Lead and mentor a small team of email developers, fostering growth, skill development, and performance excellence.
    • Build, manage, and optimize complex automations and customer journeys within a marketing automation platform.
    • Collaborate with Brand, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure effective campaign execution.
    • Review and approve AMPScript, SQL queries, and technical components used in key journeys.
    • Standardize and document best practices for code quality, QA, and testing processes.
    • Own automation calendars, resource allocation, and platform governance, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
    • Requirements
    • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable enterprise-level marketing automation platform.
    • Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with solid understanding of email coding best practices.
    • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles to optimize email experiences.
    • 6+ years of experience in email development and marketing automation, with proven success in high-quality campaign execution.
    • 2+ years of people management experience, with strong leadership and team development skills.
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
    • Strong attention to detail and dedication to documentation and process standardization.
    • Proactive, innovative, and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
